Resident Artist - Portia Krieger

Portia Krieger is currently collaborating with Lucy Alibar on her play Marietta Christmas Spectacular (EST), and with actor Amir Levi on his solo show, Te Busco.  In February, she collaborated with Slant Theatre Project to conceive Playground Rules, an evening of short plays about childhood secrets.  Recent directing includes The Parting Glass (Origin/59E59), The Lover and Sam Forman's Please Stop Talking (Williamstown), Forman's The Brother Sister Thing (Slant), Tommy Smith's Sunrise, On the Verge, Clinically Negative, Welcome to the Moon, Look Back in Anger, and Vern Thiessen's The Flud. Favorite assistant directing: Saturn Returns (Lincoln Center Theater), Three Sisters (Williamstown), Port Authority (Atlantic), and Pumpgirl (MTC).  Ms. Krieger is a member of the Drama League Assistant Directors Project and the 2009 Lincoln Center Directors Lab, and is a Smith college alum.

Cesar Alvarez (Sound) is a Brooklyn-based songwriter, composer, and sound artist. He studied at Interlochen Arts Academy, received a B.M. from Oberlin Conservatory and an MFA from Bard College in Music/Sound. He's been performing with his band The Lisps for three years. In 2008 he debuted his sci-fi indie rock musical called FUTURITY at the Zipper Factory (RIP), and is developing it towards an off-Broadway run. www.musicisfreenow.org

John Sundling (Scenic) A graduate of DePaul University, John has been living and working in New York for almost three years.
